The morning routine of a procrastinating girl

Hi!
I started today as I do every morning; my mum wakes me up and then, right after she has turned the lights on and left for the bathroom, I fall back to sleep again. It’s become a really bad habbit, but those extra five minutes of sleep are the best minutes you could possible imagine. The worst part though, is the fact that in those five minutes of sleep I tend to dream really REALLY good dreams. Dreams of me running a marathon and actually winning, dreams of me having the best breakfast EVER and the unfortunate dream which consist of me going through my morning rutine and finding the perfect outfit for the day.

Not finding my perfectly planned outfit,
I'm such a girl sometimes.
The reason the last dream is particularly bad is the fact that when I then do get up, I have to go through it all again, but this time, NOTHING goes as it should. I find out those five minutes were actually ten, I have at least three new zits, my makeup looks worse than ever and that perfect outfit is NOWHERE to be found.

After what seems like a sprint through the shower and almost ripping my skin out trying to make my hair look, well, not like a horsetail. Yes, you read that right, a horsetail. I put my terrible makeup on, I look through all off the clothes spread across my bedroom floor for something resembling decent clothing and put on whatever shirt or sweater lying on the top of the stack. After trying hard to convince myself of the fact that the science test today will go well and that there is no reason to get myself more stressed, I leave the house at 07.30 looking like someone with a really bad hangover with a backpack over one shoulder and some tired eyes desperately seeking a pair of sunglasses.

My point being for those who can relate to this story; you are not alone, and those of you who live your lives waking up without looking like someone from a zombie movie; thank whatever god you believe in that you are not me and know that there are girls like me out there who really wish to walk in the light as well.

And that's all you're getting out of me today because I have an assignment with a deadline in about three hours or so and I don't got time for any more of this procrastination. So, er, bye!
